Anonymous asked:My question is about gurus, do you believe that it is okay just to be your own guru? I was watching Manithyasudevi YouTube videos and she always talking about how you must learn from gurus. Also She stated that a bishop of the Catholic church said that she's believe to be our savior because of a statement His holiness the Dalai Lama said (he said that a western women will be our savior) Do you think will get a savior? Not saying she is, While she was talking I had a really bad feeling in my gut
Manithyasudevi has some great advice and some bad, i say this with everything you watch, read, or listen take it with a grain of salt unless you feel it resonates with you.
You can have many teachers, authority figures, guides, reiki masters, gurus, spiritual helpers, etc. but the most accurate and trustworthy advice that you get from anyone is yourself, your higher self and your intuition always. You only think for yourself, not anyone else’s path.
You can have many others help you on your path, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that, you can have teachers and guides but you must not put them on a pedestal because they are just as high or low as you, we are all equal. While they might give you excellent tips and advice on your own spiritual journey, you are your own guru, despite everything. This is not a point of arrogance or hierarchy either, this is stating that you should not discount information but you should not hold anyone as an idol of worship either.
No one is your holy savior but you! when you are awakening you are saving yourself and you must realize this. through our own dark night of the soul, you save yourself. you are your own savior through your own internal journey of awakening your subtle energy. This cannot be accomplished by an outside force, it’s all within you.
Inside of you lies a cosmic sea of knowledge and wisdom merely at your fingertips, it’s just a matter of channeling the energy and proper fruition into your own awareness.
You are your own guru, never believe otherwise.
